Our catering department is seeking a dependable chef with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail. If you’re a qualified chef with a creative flair and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment, and autonomously then we’d like to hear from you.
The successful candidate with report to the head chef and will be expected to maintain the company’s food standards and be committed to always delivering high quality food production.
This person must also adhere to the following duties and responsibilities
- maintain a high level of food quality ensuring the use of quality and fresh ingredients
- keep up to date with industry trends
- ensure our food service is provided at consistent and high levels, maintained through the standard recipe and product specification/portion control
- contribute to the effective management of stock levels, considering our level of trade, shelf life, and storage methods
- meet all food safety legislation and hotel standards regarding the safe handling of food
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to act in a professional and confident manner
- Flexible and proactive approach to work with a willingness to learn
